Locus of Control

Locus of control, a concept introduced by Julian Rotter in 1966, refers to the degree to which people believe they can influence the events that affect their lives. People with an internal locus believe outcomes result from their own actions; those with an external locus believe outcomes are determined by outside forces — luck, fate, or powerful others. The concept has shaped personality psychology, health psychology, education, and coaching.

Tuckman's Stages of Group Development

Tuckman's model describes the predictable developmental stages that teams progress through: Forming, Storming, Norming, and Performing (with Adjourning added later) - a framework widely used in team coaching and organizational development to understand where a team is in its maturity and what interventions are most appropriate.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, present-focused, evidence-based psychological treatment built on the insight that it is not events themselves but our interpretation of events that drives our emotional and behavioural responses. By identifying and restructuring distorted thinking patterns and changing the behaviours that reinforce them, CBT helps individuals respond more adaptively to challenging situations. With roots in Aaron Beck's 1960s work on depression and Albert Ellis's Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, it is among the most thoroughly researched psychotherapies, with robust evidence across depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, panic, phobias, and insomnia.

Change Management

Change management is the deliberate practice of helping an organization and its people move from a current situation toward a desired future state. It connects strategic and operational change with the human processes through which people understand, interpret, adopt, adapt, challenge, and sustain new ways of working. Change management may include stakeholder involvement, leadership alignment, communication, learning, experimentation, support, and attention to organizational structures and culture. It is not simply a plan for overcoming resistance: effective practice treats concerns, disagreement, and unintended consequences as potentially valuable information. Models such as Kotter’s eight-step process or Prosci’s ADKAR model can provide orientation, but they are guides rather than universal formulas.

Motivational Interviewing

Situational Leadership Theory

Situational Leadership Theory (SLT), developed by Paul Hersey and Ken Blanchard, proposes that there is no single best leadership style. Instead, effective leaders adapt their style to match the development level — the combination of competence and commitment — of each individual they are leading.

OKR Implementation in Complex Organisations

This training helps leaders, transformation teams and OKR owners introduce Objectives & Key Results as a practical leadership and alignment instrument — not as another target-setting bureaucracy. Participants learn how to translate strategy into meaningful objectives, define measurable outcomes, align across teams and levels, and design an implementation approach that works under real organisational conditions. Over 1.5 days, participants either develop a first concrete OKR set or improve existing OKRs. They leave with a clearer understanding of OKR logic, common implementation pitfalls and a practical roadmap for piloting, scaling or strengthening OKRs in their organisation.

Facilitative Leadership - Developing leaders who design better conversations, better decisions and better execution

This programme helps leaders move beyond giving direction and making decisions for their teams. Participants learn how to design and facilitate the processes through which teams think, align, decide and act. The focus is on creating psychological safety, making tensions discussable, guiding complex dialogue and building clear decision architectures that lead to stronger ownership and execution. Between modules, participants work on a concrete practice project from their own leadership context, ensuring that the learning is immediately applied to real business challenges.
